Le Chateau de la Petite Malmaison

This Chateau, located only 15 minutes drive from Paris center, is a very rare example of a historical mansion spared by urban development for nearly 300 years. Originally built for Josephine, wife of French emperor Napoleon, it was a summer pavilion used to entertain close guests of imperial couple. The building, the decor and furnishings, the park, and the atmosphere remain as it was in 1815.

Present owner Count Stephan welcomes selected guests, for ceremonies such as renewal of vows, marriage, or other private events. Overnight accommodation is not possible, but there are many hotels nearby including the Versailles Trianon Palace hotel. Reservations can be arranged through the agency.
