In the Loire Valley region, La Bourdaisière is a private Chateau, welcoming individual guests and small groups. Located only 15 minutes from the city of Tours and the TGV station (55 minutes from Paris, with 10 trains a day) La Bourdaisière Chateau is an ideal base for Chateaux sight seeing: Famous sites such as Chenonceaux, Amboise, Villandry, Azay , Uss , are only 30 minutes' drive away. La Bourdaisiere consists of a 50 hectare-park with French & Italian gardens, tennis and outdoor heated pool. The romantic Renaissance building boasts 17 luxury guestrooms in the main Chateau, with more rooms in the South pavilion. The present owner, Prince Philippe de Broglie is the head of a French family with a centuries-long history and lives in the Chateau. He often greets guests personally, or opens the main Lounge at cocktail time. Many international guests and famous artists have already enjoyed a stay at la Bourdaisière, including couples for honeymoon or wedding ceremonies. | |
